WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Sunday, November 10, 2024:

  • The Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge #2070 is hosting a luncheon for Veterans who have served and those who are still serving, along with their family and friends, on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from noon to 2pm, at the Elks Lodge (777 South Street). The RSVP deadline has passed. Learn more HERE.
  • DEADLINE: We’re One Wilmington is collecting leftover Halloween candy through today. Drop off candy in the marked bins at 41 Apache Way and 4 Leslie Street. Junior WOW volunteers will be bagging the candy and creating homemade cards for veterans on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 1pm to 3pm, in the basement of St. Thomas. The public is invited and all supplies will be provided.
  • Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) will host a firearm and knife show, featuring up to 500 tables, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 9am to 5pm, and Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 9am to 3pm. Learn more HERE.
  • The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
  • TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected.  WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
