WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Monday, November 4, 2024:

  • REGISTRATION DEADLINE: The Wilmington Sons of Italy, along with the Wilmington United Methodist Church, invites Wilmington veterans and a guest to enjoy breakfast on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Methodist Church (87 Church Street). Breakfast will be served from 9am to 10:30am. The Veterans Day Ceremony begins at 11am at the Town Common. Veterans are asked to RSVP to the Breakfast by Monday, November 4, 2024 by calling 978-694-2040.
  • REGISTRATION DEADLINE: The Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge #2070 is hosting a luncheon for Veterans who have served and those who are still serving, along with their family and friends, on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from noon to 2pm, at the Elks Lodge (777 South Street). Veterans eat free. Family and friends are charged $5. The menu includes sandwiches, chips, potato salad, macaroni salad, soda, coffee, tea and dessert. Raffle tickets will be available for $1 each and 6 for $5. All proceeds will benefit the Elks’ Veterans Account to aid in improving the lives of veterans and sponsoring events for them.   • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following activities: Needleworkers at Night (6pm) and Brad’s Hearing Aid Tech Recs (6:30pm).
  • The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding the following activities: Tai Chi at 9am, Special Exercise at 10:30am, Wii Bowling at 11:30am; Cribbage at 1pm; and Strength & Stretch at 3:30pm. Learn more HERE.
  • The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open for free tours from 10am to 2pm.
  • The Wilmington Knights of Columbus hosts cribbage games every Monday night at 6:30pm in the KofC’s downstairs hall (142 Middlesex Avenue). $7 entry fee. All skill levels are welcome. Open to the general public (21 and up).
