Brad’s Hearing Aid Tech Recs

Brad’s been wearing hearing aids for almost twenty years. If you wear them, too, or are thinking about getting them, come hear what technologies he finds helpful.

The Massachusetts Library Collaborative’s 50+ Job Seekers Group meets via Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, from 9:30am to 11:30am. This week’s featured topic is Networking.
Wellness Wednesdays – Gentle Yoga with the Yoga Loft
Wednesday, November 6, 3pm
Feeling frazzled heading into the holiday season? Instructors from the Yoga Loft will help you de-stress on Wednesday afternoons at 3pm. Join us for gentle yoga with elements of meditation. Please bring your yoga mat.
20s/30s Pints + Pages Book Club
Thursday, November 7, 7pm
This group meets on the first Thursday of every other month. The book discussion will be hosted by librarians from the Wilmington and Tewksbury Public Libraries. Meeting location rotates between Wilmington, MA and Tewksbury, MA and surrounding towns. This month’s featured book selection is The September House by Carissa Orlando. This month’s meeting location will be at Tremezzo Ristorante in Wilmington.
Needleworkers

This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy conversation and camaraderie. Drop in.

Preschool Storytime

Join us at our Preschool Storytime! This program includes books, rhymes, music and movement. Ages 3-6
College Essay Drop-in

Come by the library to consult about college essay drafts with Jenn Bryson, BU faculty member. Bring your work or just come with questions! Grades 9-12

A Day of the Dead Bilingual Storytelling

Celebrate with Spanish Fun Programs and Karina Travel Connector and learn about the Day of the Dead during this Bilingual Storytelling: I Remember Abuelito! Ages 5+
Baby Time

DINOvember Party

Dinosaur fans unite! Celebrate DINOvember at this party with dinosaur snacks, crafts, books, and activities. Wear your coolest dino clothes and roam around the room with some dino-mite library pals. Ages 3-8
Music with Dara
Friday, November 8, 10:30am
With keyboard, felt board, finger puppets, and engaging visual props, Dara weaves songs (old and new favorites), fingerplays, rhythmic activities/simple instrument playing, and creative movement for a fun-filled musical 30-45 minute program. Lots of clapping, marching, singing, creative expression and FUN! Ages 2-5
Teen Cooperative Creative Writing
Friday, November 8, 3pm
Come join our low stakes collaborative writing group! Get help with grammar, plot, brainstorming ideas, and any other aspect of the writing process. Grades 6-12
Teen DnD
Saturday, November 9, 2pm
Interested in finding out more about this fantasy tabletop role-playing game, or looking for a group to play with? This month’s session will be IN PERSON at the library. You may also participate on Discord, a private server. We use DnDBeyond to track and create our characters. Grades 6-12

Book Store Next Door
The Book Store Next Door is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2. The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.
Museum Passes
The library has discounted passes to your favorite Massachusetts museums, attractions, and state parks. Find the full list on our website!
WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.
WML Virtual Programming
The library continues to offer a variety of virtual events. Please note that registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Go to wilmlibrary.org to register or call 978-658-2967.
