WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Select Board meets this Monday, October 28, 2024 at 7pm in Room 9 of Town Hall.
The meeting has a number of items on the agenda. Here are some highlights:
- Town Planning & Conservation Director Valerie Gingrich will provide a presentation regarding Multi-Family Zoning for MBTA Communities. The Town will be holding a Special Town Meeting on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 9am at Wilmington High to debate and vote on the town’s latest proposal to come into compliance with a new state law.
- Town Manager Eric Slagle will provide updates on the MSBA Process for the Wilmington elementary school project.
- The Town Manager will also provide an update on the town’s disbursement of ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funding.
- DPW Director Jamie Magaldi will provide a written update on the town’s FY26-30 Trash and Recycling Collection contract.
- The Select Board will consider signing an access license and agreement with the Olin Corporation.
- The Select Board will consider appointing Suzanne Clarkin as a member of the Building Reuse Committee representing the Commission on Disabilities.
- The Select Board will consider the request of WOW to place promotional signs on the Town Common to promote their Festival of Trees event.

The Board will hold an Executive Session from 6:30pm to 7pm to discuss potential litigation around the Wildwood School Oil Tank Breach.
