ANDOVER, MA — State Senator Barry R. Finegold (D-Andover) is announcing the first annual Sue Tucker Award for Community Service. The late Senator Tucker was a tremendous advocate for the Merrimack Valley, and the purpose of this award is to celebrate
her spirit by identifying leaders who go above and beyond for community service as she did.
“Sue was truly beloved in our community, and is a privilege to be continuing her legacy of dedicated public service through this award,” said Senator Finegold. “I look forward to honoring Senator Tucker and recognizing the amazing work of a local organization
on the week of what would be her 80th birthday.”
The first recipient of this annual award, selected for their incredible commitment to our community, will be announced in the coming weeks.
