5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Sunday, October 27, 2024: Horribles Parade, 2 Trunk Or Treat Events, Castleberry Fall Craft Festival

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Sunday, October 27, 2024:

  • Wilmington’s 56th Annual Halloween Horribles Parade will begin at 4:30pm. Participants will march from the Public Safety Building to the High School cafeteria where goodies galore await costumed children. Children should bring their own bags. In case of inclement weather, participants will report directly to the cafeteria. This free community event is organized by the Wilmington Recreation Department.
  • The Wilmington Congregational Church (220 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a Trunk or Treat event in its parking lot from 3pm to 4:15pm. After stopping by the event, make your way over to the Public Safety Building for the Horribles Parade, which steps off at 4:30pm.
  • Tessa Labreque will be hosting her third annual Step-Up Trunk or Treat event from 1pm to 3pm at Wilmington Community Television (10 Waltham Street). The free event welcomes all, and is conscious of children with sensory struggles or who have difficulty with Halloween. Costumes are welcomed but not required. Candy and pizza will be available for all who attend.
  • The Annual Castleberry Fall Craft Festival will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024 (10am-5pm) and Sunday, October 27, 2024 (10am-4pm) at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road). Learn more HERE.
  • The Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street) has organized its 10th Annual Pumpkin Patch. The Pumpkin Patch is open from noon to 7pm on Mondays through Fridays, and 9am to 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays, through Halloween (while supplies last).
  • The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
