5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Sunday, October 20, 2024: Trunk or Treat At Shriners Auditorium

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Sunday, October 20, 2024:

  • The Shriners are hosting a Trunk or Treat and Touch A Truck event from 1pm to 4pm at Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road). Bring the whole family! The Trunk or Treat & Touch a Truck Extravaganza is a free, fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween with your friends and family. Kids ages 14 and under will get to Trick or Treat in a safe environment full of decorated vehicles with trunks full of treats. Learn more HERE.
  • Wilmington’s Junior WOW Club will be hosting a pumpkin decorating event from 1pm to 3pm in the St. Thomas Church’s basement (126 Middlesex Avenue). The event is open to all students of all ages who would like to decorate a pumpkin for a teacher, friend, family member, or anyone else. Pumpkins and all other supplies will be provided.
  • The Wilmington Youth Hockey Association is offering its Learn to Skate Program this fall at Ristuccia Arena (190 Main Street). The Wilmington Youth Hockey Learn-to-Skate is an introductory class for skaters with no prior skating experience or with limited experience requiring the use of a skating aid to build confidence while learning the basic skills of skating. This program will help children develop the ABCs of movement – Agility, Balance, Coordination and speed, which is essential for developing fundamental movement skills and physical literacy. This program will run for 9 consecutive Sunday afternoons (1:30pm to 2:30pm) from October 20, 2024 through December 15, 2024. Learn more HERE.
  • The Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street) has organized its 10th Annual Pumpkin Patch. The Pumpkin Patch is open from noon to 7pm on Mondays through Fridays, and 9am to 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays, through Halloween (while supplies last).
  • The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
