WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for September 4, 2024

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, September 4, 2024:
  • A caller reported a disabled vehicle is blocking Benevento’s entrance on Salem Street. A note on the vehicle says AAA will be picking it up. Dispatch spoke with AAA, which said they had no active calls in Wilmington at the moment. Vehicle was a traffic hazard. Benevento’s had the vehicle towed. (6:23am)
  • A caller reported teens yelling at each other and speeding around the Town Beach. Police responded. Shawsheen Tech students were taking photos before the start of school. (6:27am)
  • Fire Department responded to smoldering mulch outside the MBTA Commuter Rail Station on Main Street. (7:10am)
  • A 2-vehicle crash, involving a semi-truck, occurred on Industrial Way. Two occupants were transported to hospital. (9:43am)
  • Andrea Concetta Mastropietro (35, Wilmington) and Erica Lynne Mastropietro (41, Wilmington) were served summonses for Assault & Battery. Police responded to a physical altercation between two females in the High School parking lot. (5:16pm)
