WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Sunday, September 8, 2024:
- The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is hosting an Open House event from 2pm to 4pm. Museum staff will unveil a new special exhibition, “Shaping the Future: A Journey Through WHS History.” This exhibit explores the transformation of Wilmington High School over the years and delves into what it has meant to be a student or staff member in the community. At the event, the museum staff will also be distributing WHS yearbooks to anyone interested.
- The Wilmington High School Boys Soccer teams are holding a Car Wash Fundraiser from 9am to noon outside the the Public Buildings Department (30 Church Street). Donations will be accepted via cash or Venmo (@WilmingtonHS_Sideliners).
- The Wilmington Farmers Market is open from 10am to 1pm, on the Town Common, across from the High School (159 Church Street). See the lineup HERE.
- The Wilmington Farmers Market is also holding a Pet Parade at noon. Registration begins at 11:30am. Learn more HERE.
- The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
