NORTH READING, MA — Ipswich River Community Chorus fall season begins September 9th at 7:00 pm with an open rehearsal. The chorus will be performing its holiday concert, “An Americana Holiday,” on Saturday, December 14th at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 15th at 4:00pm and will be directed by Katherine B. Foley and accompanied by Miles Goldberg.
This season’s holiday concert will include music selections ‘Mary Did you Know,’ ‘Go Where I Send Thee,’ ‘Jingle Bells,’ ‘Light One Candle,’ ‘Rise Up Shepherd,’ ‘Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth,’ ‘White Christmas,’ ‘Go Tell it on the Mountain,’ and many more. Rehearsals and concerts take place at the North Reading Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill Street, North Reading, MA 01864
If you or anyone you know loves to sing and is a Tenor or Bass, this is the perfect time to come and check out the chorus; please note that we are not looking for Sopranos or Altos at this time. Additional open rehearsals will be held on Monday, September 16th and 23rd please arrive by 7pm to register. All other rehearsals are on Monday 7:30pm – 9:30pm.
We are a four-part harmony community chorus, whose members reside in many area towns, from Burlington to Beverly. The ability to read music is not required; we provide rehearsal tracks to practice with.
