Wilmington Dog Trainer Andy Winther & Dog Zoom-Zoom Win The Kinetic Dog UKI Northeast Cup

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington resident Andy Winther recently returned from a highly successful competition in Barto Pennsylvania where he and his Border Collie “Zoom Zoom” placed first overall in the Kinetic Dog UKI Northeast Cup.

Zoom-Zoom won four of their five1st place podiums, including the Overall Cup Winner in the 24″ height. Zoom-Zoom’s performance has earned the team a spot at the finals at the US Open on November 20, 2024 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Zoom-Zoom’s victories included:

  • 1st Place 1-TDC Speedstakes Challenge.
  • 1st Place Saint Rocco’s Treats Biathlon ó
  • 1st Place Wild At Heart Masters Series
  • Overall KineticDog Northeast Cup 24″ Winner

Also placing strong in the competition was Winther’s Border Collie “Extra,” who place 2nd in Games.

Winther has completed a tour of competitions finishing in top national ranking at the Westminster Agility Dog Show in New York and the Purina Cup in Minnesota.
