5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Sunday, August 25, 2024: Large Car Show At Shriners

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Sunday, August 25, 2024:

  • The Aleppo Shriners are holding their 8th Annual Car Show, from 10am to 2pm, at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Street). Proceeds will benefit the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children. Admission is free to the public. The event includes music, prizes, food and a 50/50 raffle. Registration for show vehicles begins at 9am. A $20 donation is required.   • The Wilmington Field Hockey teams are holding a Car Wash Fundraiser from 9am to 1pm outside the Friendship Lodge (32 Church Street). Donations will be accepted via cash or Venmo (@FOFHWHS).
  • The Wilmington Farmers Market is open from 10am to 1pm, on the Town Common, across from the High School (159 Church Street). See the lineup HERE.
  • The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
  • CANS WANTED: Wilmington’s Cub Scout Pack 136 and Boy Scout Troop 136 are currently collecting returnable cans and bottles to help support their Scouting programs. Learn more HERE.
