5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Monday, August 19, 2024: Select Board, School Committee & Finance Committee To Hear School Building Project Presentation

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Monday, August 19, 2024:

  • The Wilmington School Committee meets at 5pm on ZOOM. Read the agenda HERE. The meeting will be televised live on WCTV and wctv.org.
  • The Wilmington Select Board meets at 7pm in the Town Hall Auditorium. Read the agenda HEREThe meeting will be televised live on WCTV and wctv.org. An Executive Session will precede the meeting at 6:15pm. The School Committee, Finance Committee and Wildwood Building Committee are all expect to be in the audience for the building presentation at 7:20pm.
  • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following activities: Wilmington Community Playgroup (10am); Kids Book Cafe (6pm); and Needleworkers at Night (6pm); and  Fact Checking Resources (6:30pm).
  • The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding the following activities: Tai Chi at 9am, Special Exercise at 10:30am, Wii Bowling at 11:30am; Cribbage at 1pm; and Strength & Stretch at 3:30pm. The Center’s monthly Caregivers Support Group meets at 10:30am. Learn more HERE.
  • The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open for free tours from 10am to 2pm.
  • The Wilmington Knights of Columbus hosts cribbage games every Monday night at 6:30pm in the KofC’s downstairs hall (142 Middlesex Avenue). $7 entry fee. All skill levels are welcome. Open to the general public (21 and up).
