WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for August 1, 2024

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, August 1, 2024:
  • A tractor trailer unit and motorcycle were involved in a crash on 93 North at Exit 33. MassDOT and Mass State Police handled scene. No injuries noted. (11:48am)
  • A walk-in party reported being in a verbal altercation with a group of juveniles at Dunkin’ on Middlesex Avenue. (4:18pm)
  • Police received report that a group of juveniles on top of the building next to the Shawsheen Fields were threatening to jump off. Police responded. No juveniles were on the roof. Police advised approximately 25 juveniles. (4:46pm)
  • A caller reported a group of juveniles were on bicycles and blocking traffic and being disrespectful to motorists at Concord Street and Woburn Street. (5:36pm)
  • William Peneau (53, Wilmington) was served a summons for Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle, Marked Lanes Violation, and Failure To Stop/Yield. Peneau is accused of attempting to run an off-duty officer’s vehicle off the road, after running a red light in Tewksbury. (11:44pm)
