TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Portion Of Burlington Avenue To Get Paved Beginning August 13

Below is a roadway paving notice from the Wilmington Department of Public Works:

FY25 ROADWAY RESURFACING NOTICE

BURLINGTON AVE ROUTE 62 (TOWN LINE TO SWAIN ROAD)

Please be advised that the Wilmington Department of Public Works will be grinding and resurfacing the above roadway potentially starting Tuesday August 13, 2024, weather permitting. This date may be slightly altered due to potential delays with the town’s roadway contractor.

Burlington Ave will be closed in the westbound direction toward Burlington during operations at Boutwell Street. Traffic will be detoured using Boutwell Street to Aldrich Road to Forest Street.

Local residents will have access to their properties, although there may be short delays.

Please obey the directives of police details, detour signs, and warning signs during all construction operations. Please do not park on the street during operations.
