WILMINGTON REC REMINDERS: Wilmington Recreation Department To Offer Whale Watch Trip On August 26

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Recreation Department:

WHALE-COME ABOARD with the Newburyport Whale Watch

Monday, August 26
7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$140
($145 non-residents)

Grab your binoculars and set out to sea for a summer day in Newburyport! See how many whales you can spot on the Newburyport Whale Watch Tour first thing in the morning. Each trip runs between 3 1/2 and 4 hours. This gives enough time to locate and visit the whales and other marine life. The most common sightings are Humpback Whales, Finback Whales, and Minke Whales. Other sightings include; seals, porpoise, sharks, ocean sunfish, and a variety of sea birds.

After arriving back on land, you will indulge in a delicious luncheon at Loretta, which includes soup, dessert and a meal choice of: Lobster Roll, Steak Frites, Shrimp Scampi, OR Salad with Grilled Chicken

Motor coach will depart from and return to the Wildwood Early Childhood Center (182 Wildwood Street).

Trip Includes: Round-trip motor coach transportation, Newburyport Whale Watch tour, luncheon at Loretta, and all taxes and gratuities, except driver.
