WILMINGTON, MA — Blaise Francis Wentzell, age 60, of Wilmington, formerly of Tewksbury, passed away on July 24, 2024.
Blaise was born on August 7, 1963, in Boston, MA; he was the cherished son of Clayton Wentzell, Sr. and the late Alice (Kelley) Wentzell. Blaise was raised in Wilmington and graduated from Shawsheen Tech.
Blaise was retired and had worked as a Sheet Metal Worker for Union Local 17 for thirty-nine years.
Blaise had two beautiful girls, Delana and Mariah. He loved being a dad; he was always there with a helping hand for anything his girls needed. He loved cooking and spending time with the girls and was so proud when he became “Poppy” to his only grandchild Ella Rose.
Blaise enjoyed the outdoors; he loved to go on motorcycle rides, dirt bike racing, and watching Nascar races. He had a great time in Laconia recently, where he participated in Bike Week with his daughter Mariah. Blaise also loved camping and made many memorable trips with his family and friends.
Blaise was survived by his loving children Delana Wentzell & her fiancée Yanick Cormier of Lawrence and Mariah Wentzell of Tewksbury, loving “Poppy” of Ella Rose Cormier, dear brother of Clayton Wentzell, Jr. & his wife Diane of Wilmington, Jared Wentzell & his wife Lisa of Atkinson, NH, Dereck Wentzell & his wife Theresa of Pelham, NH, Daren Wentzell & his wife Lisa of Hudson, NH and Katherine Trebino & her late husband Edmund of Tewksbury. Blaise is also survived by his former wife and mother of his children Sandy Peterson and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Blaise will be private at the request of his children.
