5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Wednesday, August 7, 2024: Community Forum For Wildwood School Building Project

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Wednesday, August 7, 2024:

  • A Community Forum for the Wildwood School Building Project will take place at 7pm via ZOOM. The forum will discuss the short list of building options, including an evaluation of costs. The Committee wants to hear from residents on which of the alternatives they prefer.
  • The Wilmington Conservation Commission meets at 7pm in Room 9 of Town Hall. Read the agenda HERE.
  • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following activities: Outdoor Time For Twos (10am) and Family Craft Night (6pm).
  • The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding is the following activities: Special Exercise (9:30am); Mexican Train (11am); Cards & Games (11am); Poker (1pm); Bingo (1pm); and Fun Singers (3pm). Learn more HERE.
  • The Wilmington Police Department is conducting Child Safety Seat Inspections and Installations at the Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) between 10am and noon.   • The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
