WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for July 24, 2024

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, July 24, 2024:

• A 2-vehicle crash occurred on Glen Road. Airbag deployed. One vehicle towed. No injuries noted. One driver cited for failing to yield. (9:15am)
• A vehicle was witnessed striking numerous trash barrels near the high school’s tennis courts. Operator had a sick dog in the vehicle and was distracted. DPW was notified to order a new barrel. (9:50am)
• A caller reported her next door neighbor’s kid was harassing her and yelling profanities at her. Police responded and spoke with all parties. (4:53pm)
• A vehicle vs. motorcycle crash occurred on Concord Street. Motorcyclist was transported by Fire Department and had road rash on arm and back. (5:21pm)
• A Woburn St. caller reported juveniles were ringing her doorbell and banging on her door tonight. A similar incident happened last Friday. A neighbor provided video of the 2 juveniles running away from the house. (8:11pm)
• A caller reported 3 juveniles shot off fireworks in the Woburn Street School parking lot. Juveniles were gone by the time police arrived. DPW was notified to clean up firework debris. (9:53pm)
