Needleworkers at Night

These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! This group meets every Monday night in the cozy seating area on the first floor of the Library.

Wilmington Community Playgroup

The Community Teamwork Family Resource Network is here weekly! Join CTI for a community playgroup where we’ll work on Early Literacy skills and much, much more! Ask CTI about any resources they can help provide for you and your family. The first playgroup of every month will focus on infants and toddlers. Ages 0-6, siblings welcome
Hawk Story & STEM Activity

Come listen to the story of the hawk and complete a STEM activity together! Grades K-5
Outdoor Preschool Storytime

Join us at our Preschool Storytime outside in the Peggy Kane Reading Garden! This program includes books, rhymes, music and movement. Ages 3-6

Outdoor Time for Twos

Family Craft Night: Plastic Bag Bracelets
Wednesday, August 7, 6pm
Complete a craft together with your family! Upcycle plastic bags into awesome friendship bracelets to give to your loved ones! The Library will provide plastic bags for this craft, however, if you want a variety of colors, you may want to bring some from home as well. Ages 5+
End of Summer Bash feat. Steve Blunt & Friends

Join us on the Town Common to celebrate the end of another fun summer with library raffles, lawn games, food trucks with treats available for purchase, and live music! All ages at the Town Common
Music with Dara
Friday, August 9, 10:30am
With keyboard, felt board, finger puppets, and engaging visual props, Dara weaves songs (old and new favorites), fingerplays, rhythmic activities/simple instrument playing, and creative movement for a fun-filled musical 30-45 minute program. Lots of clapping, marching, singing, creative expression and FUN! Ages 2-5
Teen DnD
Saturday, August 10, 3pm
Interested in finding out more about this fantasy tabletop role-playing game, or looking for a group to play with? This month’s session will be IN PERSON at the library. You may also participate on Discord, a private server. We use DnDBeyond to track and create our characters. Grades 6-12

Book Store Next Door
The Book Store Next Door is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2. The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.
Museum Passes
The library has discounted passes to your favorite Massachusetts museums, attractions, and state parks. Find the full list on our website!
WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.
WML Virtual Programming
The library continues to offer a variety of virtual events. Please note that registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Go to wilmlibrary.org to register or call 978-658-2967.
