WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for July 21, 2024

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, July 21, 2024:
  • Junior Athis (28, Lawrence) was served a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle, Obstructed/Nontransparent Window, and No Or Expired Inspection Sticker. (1:31am)
  • A caller reported dirt bikes in the area of Main Street with occupants wearing all black, doing donuts and being unsafe. Police located parties — 4 males, approximately 17-18 years old — on Main Street at Jewel Street. Bikes refused to stop and police chose not to pursue. Dirt bikes were later seen by police near Butters Row. (1:54am)
  • A Wilmington resident left their bag in an Uber last night. Uber driver lives in Tewksbury. Tewksbury Police retrieved bag and handed it off to Wilmington Police, which delivered it to the Wilmington resident. (12:24pm)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout at Citizens Bank on Main Street. (2:58pm)
  • Manager at K1 Speed reported 4-5 teens were in parking lot verbally harassing employees. Teens left prior to police arrival.  (9:31pm)
