WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Select Board meets this Monday, July 15, 2024 at 7pm in Room 9 of Town Hall.
The meeting has a number of items on the agenda. Here are some highlights:
- New owner of the Subway at 206 Ballardvale Street, Unit 2, is requesting a Common Victualer License.
- Casa Blanca and Code 1 BBQ is requesting to obtain a 1-day alcohol license for a joint event they’re planning.
- The Select Board will receive an update on White Goods/CRT Recycling Costs and recommendations from DPW Director Jamie Magaldi.
- The Town Manager will provide an update on the timeline for the MSBA Wilmington Elementary School project.
- The Town Manager will also provide an update on the Reuse of Town Buildings.
- The Town Manager will provide a memo regarding Select Board Goals and Town Manager Evaluation for FY25.
- The Select Board will receive an update from EPA regarding the Olin Superfund Site.
- The Select Board will consider the request of the Fourth of July Committee to hold Fall Fest and the Town Tree Lighting.
- The Select Board will consider signing the warrant for the State Primary Election.
- The Select Board will consider the request of Lucaya Circle residents to hold a Neighborhood Block Party on Saturday, September 14.
The Board will meet from 6:15pm to 7pm in Executive Session to discuss litigation involving 64 Wildwood Street (property taken by eminent domain for Wildwood Cemetery expansion) and potential litigation involving the Wildwood School Oil Tank Breach.
