WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Friday, July 19, 2024:

• Dinosaur Adventure will transform the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road, Wilmington) into a prehistoric exhibit featuring life-sized dinosaurs and dino-mite children’s activities on Friday, July 19, noon to 8pm; Saturday, July 20, 9am to 8pm; and Sunday, July 21, 9am to 7pm. Learn more HERE.
• The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following activities: Needleworkers (10am) and Drop-In Story Time (10:30am).
• The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding the following activities: Zumba (9am); Sewing (9:30am); Wood Carving (10am); Chair Yoga (12:30pm); and Poker (1pm). Learn more HERE.
• Town Beach at Silver Lake is open from 10am to 6pm. Wilmington residents, with proof of residency, may use the beach at no charge. Non-residents can purchase day passes at the Beach for $10 per person (ages 3 and up). Learn more HERE.
• TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected.  WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
