OBITUARY: Brandie Renee Queen, 30

Below is an obituary from Nichols Funeral Home:

WILMINGTON, MA — Brandie Renee Queen, age 30, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2024.

Brandie was born on November 19, 1993, in Stoneham, MA; she was the cherished daughter of Deborah “Debbie” J. (Santiano) Queen of Wilmington and John T. “Jack” Queen of Woburn. Brandie was raised and educated in Wilmington and was a graduate of Wilmington High School. Brandie loved to be involved in youth sports and cheerleading when she was young and made many friends throughout the years.

Brandie grew up with a large and loving family; she enjoyed “hanging out” with her sister Jalisa, her brother Derek, as well as her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and her many cousins. When Brandie became a mom to her son, Costa, her world was even brighter, and she enjoyed spending every moment with him; she was so proud of “her boy”. Brandie also treasured her role as “Auntie” or “Auntie Mama” to her sister’s children Mia, Cassidy, and Robert; she loved to spoil her nieces and nephew.

Brandie will be fondly remembered as the ultimate “fashionista” with a closet full of clothes to prove it; she loved shopping and searching out the latest brand names and styles. She had a “larger than life” personality, an infectious laugh, and a smile that would light up a room. Brandie loved to have fun and make others around her have a great time no matter where they were or what they were doing. She had a great sense of humor, she loved to make people laugh and smile, and she was fearless and spunky.

Brandie loved her family and friends unconditionally and with all her heart. She was here for a short time but left a life time of memories to share with her family and friends who forever miss her.

Brandie is survived by her parents, Debbie and Jack, she was the loving mother of Costa Nirgianakis, beloved sister of Jalisa Butler and her husband Mike and Derek Queen, special “Auntie Mama” of Mia, Cassidy, and Robert Butler, wonderful granddaughter of Robert and Jeanne Queen and the late Robert and Jean Santiano. Dear niece of Carol and Scott Cattoggio, David & Barbara Santiano, Chris and Rachel Santiano, Robert Jr. and Laurie Queen, Kevin Queen, Scott and Shannon Queen, Deborah and the late John Greco, Kelley and Steven Kenney, Stacey and Joseph Mantone. Brandie is further survived by many loving cousins and friends.
