WILMINGTON, MA — Dorothy Rose Sasso, “Dottie”, age 95, of Wilmington, formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024.
Dottie was born in Medford, MA, on August 26, 1928; she was the cherished daughter of the late Golfredo and Rose (Rago) Troisi. Dottie was one of seven siblings that were raised in a large and loving Italian family.
Dottie was the devoted mother of the late Joseph Sasso, beloved sister Rose DeFranzo of Wilmington, who survives her, the late Silvio Troisi of Denver, the late Mildred Roche of Tewksbury, the late Lillian Bryan, the late Ann Budryk, and the late Fred Troisi all of Medford. Dottie was the special aunt of many nieces, nephews, and their families.
Funeral services for Dottie will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dottie’s memory may be made to Mission of Deeds, 6 Chapin Ave., Reading, MA 01867.
