WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for June 28, 2024: Vehicle Rollover; Car vs. Pole; OUI Arrest

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, June 28, 2024:
  • A vehicle rolled over and struck a tree on Ballardvale Street, near FedEx. Operator had a medical emergency and was transported. Vehicle towed. (12:38am)
  • Keolis was at North Wilmington station working to fix malfunctioning crossing gates. (7:41am)
  •  An ice cream truck vendor reported a second ice cream truck was Yentile Park, and that truck did not have a permit. Police responded. Driver was told to cease selling ice cream until permit paperwork was completed. (12:41pm)
  • A vehicle struck a pole at Chestnut Street and Appletree Lane. Pole snapped. RMLD and Verizon notified. (4:29pm)
  • Police spoke with juveniles her threw a bottle out the window of a vehicle, which struck another juvenile in the arm, near Yentile Park. Police will speak with their parents as well. (7:00pm)
  • Johnson Lee (40, Wellesley) was arrested for OUI Liquor (2nd Offense) and Possession Of An Open Container Of Alcohol In A Motor Vehicle. (9:32pm)
