WCTV Announces: Advanced Filmmakers Summer Sessions
This four week program is for returning WCTV high school students and middle school students. Students will create an original video project, from brainstorming to completion. They will collaborate on storyboard ideas, scripts and sets and will also learn advanced skills necessary to film and edit their project. Sessions will run from 10A-4P daily. Dates for the scheduled sessions are: July 22-26, July 29-August 2, August 5-9, August 12-16. To register and for more information, contact WCTV executive director, Sam Perkins at: sam@wctv.org.

The Wilmington Spotlight (hosted by Austin Styffe)
In the inaugural episode of The Wilmington Spotlight – a show shining a light on the people and events that make Wilmington truly special, while teaching residents how to make it in town – host Austin Styffe sits down with Wilmington Fourth of July Committee Chair Patrick Giroux. They talk about everything that goes into the upcoming Fun on the Fourth festivities, explaining what goes into the planning for the event, which begins a year in advance. They talk about the amazing contributions of different people and businesses around town to pull off such a celebration, highlight long standing traditions and also spotlight some changes to this year’s format.
