WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for June 16, 2024

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, June 16, 2024:
  • A caller reported a transformer is on the ground and on fire by the railroad tracks on Concord Street. Wires were across the train tracks and roadway. Road was shut down. Police notified MBTA/Keolis, RMLD and Mass Highway. (6:04am)
  • A caller reported a group of individuals in their early 20’s in a car with liquor bottles and smelled of liquor at Wildwood Cemetery. Police responded and located vehicle in residence driveway. Homeowner explained it was the anniversary of his brother’s passing and poured bottle on the grave. He showed no signs of impairment. (1:12pm)
  • A Grove Avenue caller reported his neighbors were shooting airsoft guns over his yard trying to shoot birds. Police responded, restored the peace, and advised the parties. (7:32pm)
