WALTHAM, MA — Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (GSEMA), the largest girl serving organization in Massachusetts, is proud to honor local Girl Scouts who have sold over 500 packages of cookies during the 2023-2024 Cookie Program.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for Girl Scouts. As a result, Girl Scouts obtain limitless barrier-breaking futures outside the box with transferable life skills. Girl Scouts can earn a variety of badges and awards to develop valuable business skills including Cookie Business badges, Financial Literacy badges, Cookie Entrepreneur Family pins and Entrepreneur badges.
During the 2023-2024 Cookie Program, 1,943,922 packages were sold by Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts and 564 Girl Scouts were a part of the ‘500 Club.’
The following Wilmington Girl Scouts sold over 500 packages of cookies:
- Laney Putney, a member of Troop 79097, sold a total of 510 boxes this year
- Kaia Donn, a member of Troop 79097, sold a total of 513 boxes this year
