WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for June 7, 2024: Church Flag Vandalized; Angry McDonald’s Customer Throws Shake At Employee?

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, June 7, 2024:
  • A car struck a deer on 93 South. Airbag deployed. State Police handled scene. (1:01am)
  • A driver received a written warning for failure to yield to emergency vehicles. (9:02am)
  • Police received complaint regarding a dump trunk, in excess of the weight limit, going over the Butters Row Bridge. (12:38pm)
  • A caller reported flag and flag pole was vandalized at St. Elizabeth’s Church on Forest Street. A flag pole with the church’s flag was snapped in half and a second flag was stolen. (4:31pm)
  • A McDonald’s employee reported a belligerent customer threw a milkshake at another employee. Customer left scene. Police located customer at their home, who admitted to being frustrated with the restaurant’s service, but denied throwing a milkshake. (6:15pm)
