AJ’s Kitchen: A Father’s Love For His Son — A WCTV Business Profile

This is the story of AJ’s Kitchen. It’s the story of a father’s love for his son. Dave Erickson started AJ’s Kitchen in 2004 and named it after his son, AJ, who was diagnosed with Autism. Dave and his wife have used the business since its inception to spread awareness of autism. The wall’s of AJ’s are adorned with autism awareness police patches from department’s around the country. Similarly, the uniforms all employees wear at AJ’s prominently display the autism awareness insignia. AJ’s has also been a prominent participant and supporter of numerous advocacy initiatives and events, among them a recent fundraiser for the Doug Flutie Jr. foundation. Produced, filmed and edited by WCTV’s Elijah Li.
