School Committee To Evaluate Superintendent, Hear Changes To High School & Middle School Handbooks At June 12 Meeting

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee is holding a meeting this Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 7pm in the High School’s Large Instruction Room.

The meeting will be streamed live on WCTV.org and on WCTV.

There are several noteworthy items on the meeting agenda, including:

  • The School Committee will recognize this year’s WPS retirees.
  • The School Committee will hear presentations about WHS senior internships and exploration projects.
  • Superintendent Brand will celebrate the Class of 2024.
  • The School Committee will hear presentations from WHS Principal Ryan Gendron and WMS Principal Jeanette Quirk regarding changes to the 24-25 Handbook.
  • The School Committee will release its annual evaluation of Superintendent Brand.

The School Committee will also hear any public comments, correspondence, and subcommittee reports.

Prior to the meeting, the School Committee will hold a reception for retirees.
