Adult Programs

Needleworkers at Night
Monday, June 17, 6pm
These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! This group meets every Monday night in the cozy seating area on the first floor of the Library.

Game On!

Novel Ideas

Enjoy reading fiction? Join the library’s fiction book group led by Adult Services Librarian Erin Driscoll. Please stop by the library to pick up a copy of the featured book. June’s featured book is How Not to Drown in a Glass of Water by Angie Cruz.

VIRTUAL Author Talk: An Evening with Mercury Stardust

Needleworkers

This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy conversation and camaraderie. Drop-in.

We are kicking off our Summer Reading Program with coffee, breakfast treats, and book recommendations from Library Trustee and host of Book Stew Eileen MacDougall!

Wilmington Community Playgroup
Monday, June 17, 10am
The Community Teamwork Family Resource Network is here weekly! Join CTI for a community playgroup where we’ll work on Early Literacy skills and much, much more! Ask CTI about any resources they can help provide for you and your family. The first playgroup of every month will focus on infants and toddlers. Ages 0-6, siblings welcome

Summer Reading Kickoff feat. The Toe Jam Puppet Band

Kickoff all things summer with this high energy, interactive show that is fun for kiddos and their families! The Toe Jam Puppet Band offers a special brand of hands-on children’s entertainment that grown-ups can actually enjoy. This dynamic group puts on a very active, energetic show with a unique combination of original songs, storytelling and just plain old good fun. For kids of all ages

Outdoor Preschool Storytime

Manga Tryouts

Have a say in manga purchased for the teen collection with this new club! During each meeting, we’ll sample 1st volumes of different manga, and vote on whether it should be added to WML’s collection. Grades 6-12

Big Wheels
Friday, June 21, 10am
Check out fire engines, construction vehicles, police cars and more! Climb inside and ask their operators questions. Thanks to the Town of Wilmington’s Departments of Public Works, Fire, and Police for making this event possible. All ages

Kids N Harmony
Friday, June 21, 3pm
Join musician James Lepler for an interactive performance for children aged 0-6 and their caregivers! Sing and dance along to a high energy mix of original and traditional songs! Ages 0-6

Paint Palooza
Saturday, June 22, 3pm
Join us for our messiest event of the year! We’ll have paper and canvases to paint on with brushes, rollers, spikey balls, loofahs and more at this painting extravaganza! Babies through 5th graders

Book Store Next Door
The Book Store Next Door is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2. The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.

Museum Passes
The library has discounted passes to your favorite Massachusetts museums, attractions, and state parks. Find the full list on our website!

WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.

WML Virtual Programming
The library continues to offer a variety of virtual events. Please note that registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Go to wilmlibrary.org to register or call 978-658-2967.
