WILMINGTON, MA — Dianne B. (Stapleton) Holman, 78, of Wilmington, MA, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication. Dianne is survived by her children, Peter P. and his partner Tracy of Ashburnham, Heather Doyle and her husband Brian of Billerica, Kimberly of Burlington, VT, and Mark and his partner Cooper of Somerville. Beloved Nana to Emily, Sophia, Rachel, Collin, Sarah, Parker and Lily. And lastly, her beloved kitty, Gracie. Who will remember her for her dedication, unwavering support, and, most of all, Love.
Born in 1946, Dianne was the youngest of ten children to Leo and Edna Stapleton and was raised in a loving, warm, and, as one might imagine, noisy home. Growing up in this household, she was surrounded by her brothers and sisters as the baby of the family and later her nephews and nieces as a big sister, friend, and aunt.
Dianne loved being near the ocean, taking trips to Florida to visit family, reading, movies, and, we cannot forget, watching British mystery shows.
But above all, Dianne’s unwavering devotion and love for her family shone through in every aspect of her life. She took immense pride in their achievements and found her greatest joy in their happiness.
A public wake will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA 01887. The Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Dorothy’s Church, Main St. (Rte. 38), Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the local MSPCA (https://www.mspca.org/) in Dianne’s name.
