WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Select Board meets this Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 7pm in Room 9 of Town Hall.
There are some noteworthy items on Tuesday night’s agenda, including:
- The Select Board will consider the request from Frangos Chicken Fingers to obtain a common victualer license for 35 Lowell Street.
- The Select Board will recognize WHS students and state champions Hannah Bryson, Ali Ganley and Kyla Kelley for their outstanding athletic performances this past winter.
- The town’s Health & Recovery Coordinator Samantha Cavanaugh will discuss her Cummings Foundation Grant application.
- Temporary Town Manager Lou Cimaglia will provide written updates on the Town Hall/School Administration Building and a lease agreement involving the Buzzell School (current Senior Center).
- Temporary Finance Director Mike Morris will provide a written update on the town’s bond issuances.
- The Select Board will consider the request of TriFury Triathlon Club to place a memorial bench at the Town Beach in memory of Bryan Lyons.
- The Select Board will consider the request of the Sole Sisters Running Club to use the Town Common on Saturday mornings (7am-9pm) on June 15, July 20 and August 17.
The Select Board will be meeting in Executive Session beginning at 6:30pm to discuss Sciarappa Farm.
