WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Fourth of July Committee has just released the schedule for the 2024 Wilmington Fun on the Fourth celebration.
The celebration will be held on the Wilmington Town Common area and Wilmington High School parking lot from Wednesday, June 26, 2024 to Sunday, June 30, 2024.
The carnival will run from 5pm to 10pm on Thursday & Friday; 1pm to 10:30pm on Saturday; and 2pm to 10:30pm on Sunday.
The Family Fun Day fireworks display takes place on Saturday at 9pm. The Spectacular Fireworks display will take place on Sunday at 9:30pm.
In addition to the popular Food Court, Community Meals will be provided by the Terea’s Ristorante (Italian Fare on Wednesday evening); Rotary Club (Hamburger & Hot Dogs on Thursday evening); Sons & Daughters of Italy (Meatball Sub & Chips on Friday evening); Wilmington Minutemen (Pancakes and Sausages Breakfast on Saturday morning); The Red Heat Tavern (Mac n Cheese, Grilled Chicken Breast, Side House Salad on Saturday night); and The Dance Company (Eggs/Eggs Sandwiches, Breakfast Potatoes, Coffee on Sunday morning). The Wilmington Farmers Market will take place on the Town Common on Sunday morning, 10am-1pm.
Concerts will be performed by The Rusty Randoms; Acoustic Tandem; Johnny Malone; All That 90’s; Trustfall; Redline; Club Madison; Windham Community Band; and 7Day Weekend.
Longtime traditions — including the 3-on-3 basketball competition, horseshoes, ladies 2-mile walk, hospital bed race, and blueberry pie eating contest — all return, plus the addition of “Wilmington Night” on Wednesday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, as well as the “Great Wilmington Pie Bake Off” on Thursday night.
The Committee also released the schedule for the Wilmington Family Day on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
