WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for May 14, 2024

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, May 14, 2024:
  • Property manager of a Ballardvale Street business reported finding a hunting camera mounted to a tree in front of the property, aimed at the building. He felt it was suspicious. Police advised him to remove it and dispose of it. (10:55am)
  • A deceased turkey was removed from a barn on Perry Avenue. (11:53am)
  • Police responded to three parties stuck in an elevator at the high school. (12:36pm)
  • A caller reported his vehicle was struck by a motorcycle on the highway. Caller pulled over onto Eames Row, but bikes did not stop and continue on Route 62 towards North Reading. Motorcycle was part of 15-20 motorcycles riding together. Police were unable to locate. (6:31pm)
  • Fire Department responded to mulch fire at Eastern Bank on Main Street. (7:34pm)
  • Police had a moped towed from Triton Car Wash. Moped has no license plate. Driver was given a written warning for no registration and no permit/license. (9:52pm)
