5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Friday, May 17, 2024: Groundbreaking Ceremony For New Town Hall

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Friday, May 17, 2024:

  • The Wilmington Town Hall & School Administration Building (146 Middlesex Avenue) will have its Groundbreaking Ceremony at noon. The public is invited.
  • The Wilmington Knights of Columbus is holding a Meat Raffle Bingo Night fundraiser at the KofC Hall’s O’Leary Pub (112 Middlesex Avenue). Bingo will begin at 7:30pm sharp. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Knights.
  • State Senator Barry Finegold is holding a seminar for seniors at 2pm at the Wilmington Senior Center. The seminar will cover tax relief, emergency preparedness with experts from the Mass Emergency Management Agency, and avoiding scams with experts from the Attorney General’s Office. Light refreshments will be served. All seniors are welcome to this free event. Call the Senior Center at 978-657-7595 to sign up.
  • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following activities: Needleworkers (10am); Drop-In Storytime (10:15am); and Switch It Up! Video Game Club (3:45pm).
  • The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding the following activities: Zumba (9am); Sewing (9:30am); Chair Yoga (12:30pm); Poker (1pm); and a Senior Seminar with Barry Finegold (2pm). Learn more HERE.
