WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Good Guy Committee held its 2024 induction ceremony this past Friday, May 10, 2024 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
The Committee recognizes one Wilmington resident each year who, through their volunteerism, goes above and beyond to make Wilmington a wonderful place to live.
Jennifer Bolanos is this year’s Good Guy Award winner.
Jen, a busy mother of three who works with students with Autism at the Wildwood/West School program, never misses an opportunity to help out wherever or whenever she can.
Highlights of Jen’s volunteerism include:
- We’re One Wilmington, including Jr. WOW and the Festival of Trees
- Wilmington Sons & Daughters of Italy
- Transfiguration Parish’s CCD Program
- Soul Sisters Running Club (charter member)
- avid runner and marathoner for charitable organizations (e.g., Doug Flutie Foundation)
- Best Buddies Program
- WPS CATS (Choral & Theatre Support) Group, Board of Directors
- Wilmington Band Parents Organization, Board of Directors
The Good Guy Committee would like to thank all those who made the evening a memorable one, including Masters of Ceremonies Steve Bjork; videographers Tom Pazyra, Don Laird and John Peralta; and Wilmington’s current and former state legislative delegation, including Representative Dave Robertson, Senator Barry Finegold, and Senator Bruce Tarr.
