- The Town of Wilmington is holding its annual Household Hazardous Waste Day from 9am to 2pm, in the parking lot of the West Intermediate School (22 Carter Lane). The event is FREE for Wilmington residents. Proof of residency is required. View the event flyer for more information. - A Mother’s Day Flower Sale will take place from 10am to 6pm at the St. Dorothy’s Church Hall (11 Harnden Street). The event, organized by the Parish of the Transfiguration’s Ladies Sodality, will feature a wide variety of colorful flowers to chose from, including potted, bouquets, and hanging plants. All proceeds will benefit the Ladies Sodality. Cash or check only. Any remaining flowers from the sale will be sold after the morning masses at St. Dorothy (10am) and St. Thomas (8am) on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
- The Wilmington Cross Country and Track & Field Boosters Club is holding a fundraiser from 3pm to 9pm at Dandilyons Ice Cream in Reading (1331 Main Street). A portion of all sales will be donated to the Boosters Club.
- The Shawsheen Tech Alumni Association is holding a 50th Anniversary Celebration from 9am to 11am at the school. Learn more HERE.
- The Billerica Substance Awareness and Prevention Committee is hosting a Spring Fling Community Fair at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School (100 Cook St., Billerica) from 10 am to 3pm. Learn more HERE.

- Power of Flowers Project is holding its annual Bloom Festival fundraiser from 8:30am to 1:30pm at the GROW Greenhouses (1 Greenhouse Road) in Tewksbury. Just in time for Mother’s Day, enjoy a wide variety of annuals from GROW Greenhouses, perennials from members’ gardens, indoor plants, locally created artisan goods, garden novelty items, and other unique gifts.
