Below is a press release from The Academy of Traditional Karate:
WILMINGTON, MA — The Academy of Traditional Karate (155 West Street, Wilmington) prides itself on being a family friendly, inclusive environment.
They are very excited to announce its pilot program for Adaptive Karate, which will be a modified program for children on the spectrum with special needs. The goal is to provide an opportunity for students who could benefit from Karate but may not be able to participate in a full-time Karate program.
Sessions, which are for ages 4 to 9, take place on Thursdays, from 4:30pm to 5pm, on May 2, 9, 16 and 23. The cost is $199. A parent, guardian or aide must be in class with the child to help guide them.
To register, call 978-658-2077 or email TeamElite@Traditional-Karate.com.
The sessions will be limited to 12 students so great service can be provided to each student.
