- The Boston Show, presented by Lucky’s Promotions, returns to the Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington (99 Fordham Road) on Friday, April 26, 2024 (12pm-7pm), Saturday, April 27, 2024 (9am-5pm), and Sunday, April 28, 2024 (10am-4pm). Learn more HERE.
- The Wilmington Minutemen will raise a new Liberty Pole at Rotary Park at 1pm. The public is invited to the ceremony. Learn more HERE.
- The Ipswich River Community Chorus invites Wilmington residents on a musical journey through the seasons of life. The chorus, proudly led by Musical Director Katherine B. Foley, presents its 2024 Spring concert, “SEASONS”’, on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 7:30pm and Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 4pm at the Union Congregational Church (148 Haverhill Street, North Reading). - CLOTHES WANTED: Wilmington Community Television (10 Waltham Street) is collecting clothing, shoes, and accessories for homeless and lower-income people through “Second Chances” organization. Donation boxes are both inside and outside its building through April 30. Learn more HERE.
- TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected. WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
