WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for April 16, 2024

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, April 16, 2024:
  • Police notified Mass Highway of pothole forming around manhole cover on Main Street at Kirby Street. (8:22am)
  • A Cumberland Farms employee reported an older woman was inside the store attempting to get a large amount of bitcoin. She appeared shaken up and left. Employee was concerned it was a scam. Police responded. Police reviewed security camera footage. Police checked Sunrise Market and The Corner Store. Woman was found at The Corner Store. Detectives brought her back to her home to view her computer, which may have been compromised. Police then met her at Bank of America to see if her accounts were compromised. (11:54am)
  • Police spoke with a boy, approximately 12 years old, sitting on a basketball rim at Yentile Recreational Facility. (1:48pm)
