Poetry Contest
The annual poetry contest is back! All ages are welcome to submit a poem, written with the theme of Conservation, Earth, or Nature in mind. There will be one winner selected for each age group, as well as honorable mentions. Submissions are due by April 30th! All are welcome to attend the Poetry Party on May 15th.

Adult Programs
Needleworkers at Night
Monday, April 8, 6pm
These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! Drop-in. This group now meets every Monday in the cozy seating area on the first floor of the library.
The Five Stages of the Hearing Loss Journey
Monday, April 8, 6:30pm
Shari Eberts, co-author of Hear & Beyond, will talk about The Five Stages of the Hearing Loss Journey and provide strategies for people struggling with Hearing Loss to use for better communication.

Cookin’ the Books

If you love to cook and enjoy talking about food and sharing recipes then this group is for you. Pick up a copy of the cookbook (or find a recipe from the book online), register on the library events calendar and record your recipe. Bring your dish to the meeting and enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes! April’s featured cookbook is Let’s Eat by Dan Pelosi.
Craft & Chat

Enjoy making a craft while socializing with others! This craft group meets the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm. All craft supplies provided. April’s featured craft is a Wool Felt Car Air Freshener (Lavender).
Medicare 101

Needleworkers

Guiding Eyes for the Blind Puppy Raisers

VIRTUAL I’m In, What’s Next: After College Acceptance
Tuesday, April 9, 7pm
After all the hard work, the acceptance and the financial aid letter have arrived. In this session, attendees will review the differences in college financial aid offers, appeals, how to hunt for scholarships, and the use of resources to finalize a family’s financing strategy. The session will review important steps to prepare and protect new college students—parents and guardians of college-bound 12th-grade students and those already enrolled. The Community Teamwork Family Resource Network is here weekly! Practice using your home language with us! Our staff will be here with an interpreter speaking Haitian Creole. Girls Who Code

Book Store Next Door – Winter Hours
The Book Store Next Door is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2. The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.
Museum Passes
The library has discounted passes to your favorite Massachusetts museums, attractions, and state parks. Find the full list on our website!
WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.
WML Virtual Programming
