WILMINGTON, MA — Michael P. Doyle, age 62, of Somersworth, NH, formerly of Wilmington, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 17, 2024, at the Wentworth Douglass Hospital in New Hampshire, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Michael was born on June 10, 1961, in Stoneham, MA; he was the cherished only son of Beverly A. (Austin) Doyle and the late Robert E. Doyle of Wilmington, MA. Michael was raised and educated in Wilmington and a graduate of Wilmington High School with the Class of 1979.
Michael was the beloved husband of Lillian “Lill” Doyle of Somersworth, NH, devoted father of Joshua Doyle and his wife Rocio of Manchester, NH, Patrick Doyle and his wife Hannah of Milford, NH, and step-father of Jenelle Plourde of Houston, TX. Loving Grampa of Charlotte Doyle, dear brother of Diane Doyle of Wilmington, MA, and Cheryl Kitner and her husband Kurt of Billerica, MA. Special Uncle of Danny Valerio, Molly and Prince Philip, Joseph Costa, and great-uncle of Cecelia “Cece”.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA, on Friday, March 22nd from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA, at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
