WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for March 12, 2024: Driver Accused Of OUI Lands In Hospital After Crash

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, March 12, 2024:
  • Shannon Corbett (49, Wilmington) was served a summons for OUI Liquor; Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle; Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle; and Marked Lanes Violation. Corbett struck a pole on Clark Street. Transformer was damaged and leaking oil all over the ground. RMLD was notified and hazmat team responded. Corbett was transported to Lahey Hospital. (2:24am)
  • A Dunkin’ employee reported a female customer was refusing to leave the drive-thru after a disagreement. Driver was offered a refund and would still not cooperate. Driver eventually left. (5:53am)
  • Police received an accidental 911 call. Mother stated her son dialed by accident when playing with her phone. Police responded and confirmed. (9:07pm)
