WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Select Board conducted public interviews of four finalists for the vacant Town Manager position on March 12, 2024 and March 13, 2024.
The Select Board will meet this Monday, March 18, 2024 at 6pm in Room 9 of Town Hall to discuss the candidates. They are expected to take a vote and select Wilmington’s next Town Manager. The meeting is open to the public and will allow for comments from the public prior to the the start of the discussion.

These finalists were selected by a Screening Committee, whose members were appointed by the Select Board. 17 candidates applied for the position. 7 candidates were interviewed by the Screening Committee. The following 4 candidates were the candidates they recommended as finalists for the Select Board to consider:
Town Manager Interviews Night #1: Pepperell Town Administrator Andrew MacLean & Billerica Assistant Town Manager Clancy Main
Town Manager Interviews Night #2: Former Woburn City Mayor Scott Galvin & Townsend Town Administrator Eric Slagle
Of note, an estimated 50 Wilmington educators and firefighters demonstrated outside Town Hall during Night #2 of the Interviews, signaling their opposition to former Woburn Mayor Scott Galvin’s bid to become Town Manager.
