WILMINGTON, MA — James J. “Jimmy” Leverone, age 33, of Houston, TX, former of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2024.
Jimmy was born on November 30, 1990, in Winchester, MA, to Mary L. Leverone and Robert J Leverone.
Jimmy was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Jimmy was a kind and loving man who touched the lives of everyone he knew with his infectious laugh, smile, and big heart. He had a passion for playing the guitar and enjoyed telling the world he was famous. Professionally, Jimmy pursued a career as a Lighting, Audio, and Video Event Technician, where his skills and dedication shone brightly.
He is survived by his mother Mary L. Leverone, father Robert J. Leverone, brothers Jesse J. Leverone and Daniel R. Martel, grandfather Robert M. Leverone, uncle Michael F. Leverone and his wife Elizabeth, aunt Kristina M. Lamarche and her husband Donald, uncles Thomas Keaney, Hugh Keaney Jr., Michael Keaney and his wife Caroline, cousins Emily, Patrick, Nathan, Colin, Ryan, and Gavin Keaney, Peter and Tiffani Sylvain, Lincoln and Holden Leverone, Brenden, Skylah and Christian Pratt, and Baileigh Lamarche, godparents Sally Ferguson Mank and Ronald Mank, niece Katheryn “Katey” Leverone and her mother D’Alma McKinnon, Auntie Grammie Jeri Arbo and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Jimmy was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Sharon “Mimi” Leverone, maternal grandparents Hugh F. and Barbara Keaney, cousin Hugh Adam Keaney, and Uncle Daniel Keaney.
Family and friends gathered at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Saturday, March 16th at 9:00 a.m. immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting hours were held at the Funeral Home on Friday, March 15th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Jimmy will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
