WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Saturday, March 9, 2024:

• Boston Roller Derby, a Boston-based, female-only roller derby league, returns to the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) for the start of the league’s season. Doors open at 4pm. Matches are scheduled for 5pm and 7pm. An after-party will take place at 9pm in the Fez Room. Learn more HERE.
• The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following activities: Teen Leadership Council (11am); Teen DnD (3pm); and Family St. Patrick’s Day Craft (3pm).
• The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
• Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) hosts karaoke from Winnell Entertainment on Saturdays beginning at 8pm.
• TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected. WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
