WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for February 26, 2024: Man Following Woman At Target; Shoplifting At CVS & TJ Maxx; Complaints Over Solicitors

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, February 26, 2024:
  • A walk-in party reported a past moving company scam. (12:45am)
  • Sheila Mary Corbett (35, Woburn) was served a summons for Shoplifting by Asportation. Employee at CVS on Main Street reported a shoplifter. (2:55am)
  • Rogerio Cunha De Sousa (26, North Andover) was served a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. (5:38am)
  • Edward Jonathan Diaz (39, Malden) was arrested on Shoplifting By Asportation (3rd Offense). Loss prevention at TJ Maxx reported a known shoplifter was in the store and acting unruly. (2:33pm)
  • A vehicle got stuck on the tracks at Main Street and Milton Way. Vehicle was towed. No damaged to the tracks. (6:06pm)
  • A caller reported a male party was following her all around Target and making her feel uncomfortable around 5pm. (6:57pm)
  • Police received complaints of door-to-door solicitors on Fiorenza Drive (6:40pm), Marcus Road (7pm), and Sheridan Road (7:48pm).
